The Government has nominated nine mediapersons as members of the Press Council Nepal.

Those nominated are editor of The Kathmandu Post Prateek Pradhan, editor of Jana Aastha Weekly Kishore Shrestha, journalists based in Dang and Birgunj, Bipul Pokharel and Dipendra Chuhan, publishers Prashu Ghimire, Sanjaya Santoshi Rai, Yagya Raj Sharma, Mahendra Bista and Gyanu Pandey.

They were nominated for a period of two years, the Ministry of Information and Communications said.
