Kathmandu, June 20: Minister for Youth, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Tarini Datta Chataut met Temba Chhiri Sherpa, the youngest Nepalese mountaineer to reach the highest altitude of Mt. Sagarmatha at the B and B hospital and acquired information about his health on June 16.
Minister Chataut also met the parents of Sherpa and acquired information about his treatment.
On the occasion, Minister Chataut said that he was making efforts to provide the expenditures to be incurred in Sherpa’s treatment through HMG.
Sherpa who suffered frost bite on his fingers had been operated upon and he is undergoing treatment at B and B hospital.
He is the youngest Nepalese mountaineer to reach the highest altitude of Mt. Sagarmatha or Everest, the highest peak in the world.
