Industrial output slipped seven percent in the fiscal year 2001/2 compared to 3.4 percent increase the previous year, preliminary estimates released by the Central Bureau of Statistics said.
Food production, accounting for 26.21 percent of the total production, fell five percent compared to a 5.6 percent surge the pervious year. Production of biscuits, sugar, noodles and processed tea slipped 7.52 percent.
