The Indian government has extended assistance worth 2,787,684 for construction of additional classrooms and a Mobile Eye Care ambulance.
It extended assistance worth Rs. 2,787,684 for construction of an additional classroom block for Pashupati Siksha Mandir School, Ranitalaw, Nepalgunj, Banke.
A press statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu said a foundation stone of the building was laid on Thursday.
“This project of Rs. 2,787,684 for the construction of additional classrooms and provision of books will benefit students from an improved learning environment,” the statement added.
Likewise, the Indian government gifted a Mobile Eye Care ambulance worth Rs.1,084,582 to Fateh-Bal Eye Hospital, Nepalgunj for providing qualitative ophthalmic services to the people at affordable costs in remote and far flung areas.
