Indian deputy ambassador to Nepal Alok Sinha said that his country has always contributed to enhance the economy of Nepal apart from cooperating in the peace process.
While speaking at an interaction at the “Excellence Acheivers Award 2009” programme held at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) he further said, “India alone contributes to 44 percent total foreign direct investment (FDI) in Nepal. And, there are 240 projects worth Rs 13,000 million being executed in various sectors like hydropower, road construction and education, among others.”
He also made it a point to relate that both the countries share economic transparency in terms of trade.
