India assistance for four schools

As continued support to the development works in Nepal, the government of India has provided a total of Nrs.6,325,380 for four schools of eastern Parsa district.

A press statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu said the Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Shiva Shankar Mukharjee, laid down foundation stones of school buildings of Galaxy Secondary School, Adarsh Nagar; Shree Sharda Secondary School, Bahuwari- Sugauli; Shree Zilla Uchangal Higher Secondary School, Pokharia and Shree Nepal Rastriya Primary School, Auraha on Thursday.

Speaking at the function, Ambassador Mukharjee said that India was happy to contribute to the significant sector of education, which is the basis of development and progress.
