Kathmandu, May 21: Rajparishad Standing Committee Chairman Dr. Keshar Jung Rayamajhi, at a talk programme on impact of Buddhist philosophy on social order organised by Lord Buddha Club Nepal, to mark the 2544th birth anniversary of Lord Buddha here today, said that the Buddhist philosophy has been very useful for the welfare of the mankind.

National Assembly member Rishi Babu Pariyar was of the view that translation of even small portion of the Buddhist philosophy into practice would go a long way towards the country’s development.

MP Bijul Bishwakarma spoke of the need to remove the existing weaknesses and shortcomings in Hinduism for the development of the Hindu Kingdom.

Oppressed class uplift committee vice-chairman Ganesh Pariyar and other speakers expressed their views at the programme chaired by president of Lord Buddha  Club Nepal Mohan Mijhar.
