House prorogued for two weeks

The ongoing session of the House of Representatives has been prorogued for two weeks due to Dashain holidays.

The next meeting of the HoR will now be held on October 11.

The House of Representatives meeting, on Thursday, ended after passing a number of bills such as the one on Gender Equality; Notary Public Bill 2063; Competition Promotion and Market Protection Bill 2063; Nepal Rastra Bank (first amendment) Bill 2063 and Goods Transportation Bill 2063.

Meanwhile, Speaker Subas Nemwang gave the official seal on the Military Act endorsed recently by the House. In the past, the King used to give such official seals to every act endorsed by the parliament.
