His Majesty King Gyanendra is scheduled to leave Kathmandu Monday on an unofficial visit to the Far and Mid Western Development Regions.

According to a notice issued Sunday by the Press Secretariat of His Majesty the King, the King is leaving to the regions so as to learn state of affairs there. The visit is expected to be for a few days. No further details were given.

There are 9 and 15 districts in the Far and Mid Western Development Regions respectively.
