His Majesty the King and Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa have congratulated Indian President APJ Abdul Kalaam and PM Atal Behari Vajpayee, respectively, on the occasion of the Republic Day of India, RSS said Sunday.

In two separate messages to the Indian President and PM, His Majesty and PM Thapa have wished for progress and prosperity of the people of India, the agency added.

India celebrates January 26 as its national day.
