Helpline for missing children opened

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala formally opened the hotline for missing children on Wednesday.

PM Koirala dialed 104 – the number of missing children helpdesk being operated by National Center for Children at Risk – and talked with Urmila Aryal, Minister of State for Women, Children and Social Welfare.

PM Koirala instructed the minister to effectively utilise the toll-free helpline to bring about improvement in the situation.

Anyone can provide information regarding missing children through this helpline. Minister Aryal vowed to expand the helpline service across the country soon.
