The special court Thursday continued the hearing on the corruption charges filed by CIAA against former Minister Khum Bahadur Khadka. Khadka has been charged of misappropriating RS 40 million while giving away the contract of Bakraha River Control Project in Sunsari district to China Henan Company.

The pleadings on the cases filed against ex-minister Jaya Prakash Prasad Gupta and Managing Director of Kantipur Publicaitons Kailash Sirohiya could not begin Thursday due to time constraint.

The hearing on the cases filed against the two will probably take place today.
