Kathmandu, May 20: Third Carlsberg Golf tournament was held at Royal Nepal Golf Course, Tilganga, Kathmandu. Col. N.B. Gurung won this year’s tournament. The Runner-Up was Brig. Gen B.B. Thapa. Similarly, Robin Martson won in the Senior category, Master Sizen Shrestha was the junior winner, Mr. Moti Lal Bohara was judged the most elegant player of the tournament.

The tournament consisted of 14 prize catagories. 71 players participated in the tournament. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Rajendra Khetan, Vice Chairman of Khetanm Group and promoter of Gorkha Brewery. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed his views on the game and pledged continuous support for the game. President of RNGC Mr. Lohani and Deepak Rajbhandari also spoke at the Prize giving Ceremony. This event was organised by Royal Nepal Golf Course and sponsored by Carlsberg Beer.
