Govt. forms probe committee

Government Wednesday formed a five member investigation committee to probe Tuesday’s derailment of the Jayanagar Janakpur Railway killing three persons and seriously injuring 12 others at Khajuri, an

announcement said.

The announcement did not say who heads the committee. The committee will report within seven days of commencement of work. The committee’s terms of reference includes finding out the cause of the accident and suggesting recommendations to avoid such accidents.

Nobody was injured in another accident Wednesday when the train was heading for Janakpur from Jayanagar, a border  town in India.
