Amid growing optimism for peace talks, Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa said Friday the government is committed to the peace process and has been making extensive efforts to restore peace in the nation.
PM Thapa said, “we have been working to our maximum to restore peace in the nation.” “We will continue our efforts towards making peace.” Stating that peace and economic development are supplementary to each other, PM Thapa said, “we are committed to the economic development of the nation.”
PM Thapa was addressing the 37th annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Friday. The two-day 37th AGM of FNCCI is being held at Birendra International Convention Center to elect a new executive board for the next term.
