The government has approved the six-point agreement reached between the seven parties and the Maoists.
The meeting of the council of ministers held at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar Thursday morning approved the agreement signed on Wednesday midnight.
On the occasion, PM Koirala briefed the ministers about the agreement and asked for their commitment for its implementation.
Later today, the PM is scheduled to address the House of Representatives to formally inform the lawmakers regarding the agreement.
