The Government has appointed Bodh Raj Niraula, a joint-secretary at the Education and Sports Ministry as the new Member Secretary for the National Sports Council (NSC) recently.

Niraula was appointed new member secretary after the government’s latest cabinet meeting on Sunday replacing Kishor Bahadur Singh.

Singh had been criticized by all sports bodies for not implementing the plans and policies.
