An armed group of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) of Goit faction shot dead a member of the JTMM Jwala Singh faction last night in Rautahat.

The deceased Ram Sugarat Sahani had left the Maoist party to join the JTMM-Jwala Singh recently.

Around five gunmen shot him at a shop in Ramauli Bauri area at around 10 pm Saturday.

The local leaders of the Goit faction claimed responsibility for the killing, but didn’t clarify the reasons for their action.
