Twin girls from Nepal whose conjoined heads were separated in Singapore last year are healthy but “somewhat delayed” in their development, AP reported Friday quoting doctors.

The two-year-old girls’ motor development skills are behind what would be expected for children of their age, a pair of doctors said in a statement.

Ganga Shrestha, who was the livelier of the two before the operation, has not progressed much in the 10 months since she and her sister returned to Nepal.

Ganga’s sister Jamuna, is doing much better and is able to sit up and feed herself, the doctors said. nepalnews.com am Sept 7
