Police have arrested four Pakistani Nationals from two places in Kathmandu.
Officials at the Kathmandu District Police Office said that two Pakistani nationals, Gulam Hussein Chima and Atta Muhaddin Siddhiqi, who are suspected of possessing 16kg RDX that was seized in Kathmandu five years ago, were arrested from Everest Hotel Wednesday morning.
Police said they were unable to say whether they were liked with the serial blasts in the Indian city of Mumbai and informed that interrogation was underway.
The explosive was seized from their room in Kathmandu in April 2001 but both the suspects had fled arrest at that time.
Meanwhile, two other Pakistani nationals were arrested from a hotel in Jyatha, Kathmandu, in the morning. Police are yet to reveal anything about the two arrested Pakistanis.
All four arrested persons have been kept at the DPO’s custody.
