KATHMANDU:  Four Maoists were killed in clashes with security forces Monday, including two in Panchthar district, the Defence Ministry said Tuesday. Two rebels were killed in Sarlahi and Dang also.

One Maoist was killed in a a violent internal feud in the outlawed party in Sindhuli last Thursday, the Ministry said. A security patrol Tuesday recovered a huge cache of explosives including three 15 kg bombs at Sukani jungle in Ilam, the Defence Ministry said.

Rebels shot dead policeman Rajendra Man Dangol at district headquarters in Bajura Tuesday, the Defence Ministry said.
