Pyuthan, June 19: Four members of one family have died in flooding in the Jhimruk river following torrential rain here recently.

The deceased are Jite Bidha, his wife and their two children.

They were swept away by the swollen river while trying to cross it at Rathighat between Khawang and Lung VDCs.

According to Assistant CDO Bhim Prasad Tiwari, necessary relief materials have been provided to other family members of the deceased.
