At least four people were killed when a passenger bus and a truck collided with each other at Bardibas of Mahottari district Friday afternoon.

Two passengers of the bus died on the spot while others died on their way to hospital. The accident took place at around 12:45 pm, report said.

Identity of the victims is yet to be identified.

Reports said local Maoist activists have taken the truck under control saying that it deliberately hit the bus, which was heading for Biratnagar from Birgunj.
