KATHMANDU: The federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and industry (FNCCI) has forwarded a plan to move ahead economic diplomacy to make itself active in the development of economic development by maintaining economic relations in the international sector and to invite foreign investment and technology.
This will help promote Nepal’s trade, investment, and tourism, said participants of a discussion yesterday.
The interaction was participated in by FNCCI committee presidents, co-presidents, members, officials of bi-national chambers and experts of economic diplomacy.
In the first phase of economic diplomacy, the FNCCI has appointed honorary consulars in countries with Nepal’s economic relations including in China and Japan and plans to appoint in Qatar, Russia and USA.
