Local administration Friday released five suspected Maoist school teachers in Gorkha, RSS said quoting local officials.

Those released are: Krishna Bahadur Rana, Bishnu Hari Kattel, Tanka Debkota, Chudamani Adhikari and Narayan Upadhaya.

They had earlier surrendered to local administration pledging to live a normal lives. 37 others are still being investigated under detention, the agency said.
