Five persons dealing in fake Indian currency notes arrested

Five persons, including an Indian, were arrested Monday for dealing in forged Rs.500 Indian currency notes, police said. They were nabbed in Thamel with Rs.45,000 in forged currency notes.

Thamel is frequented by tourists. The Indian national was identified as Mohammed Ansari; four other gang members were Nepalis.Some persons were arrested earlier in the capital for dealing in forged Indian currency notes.
