Butwal: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the industrialists should take a concrete decision on the role to be played by them for the development of the nation.
In a message sent to the 21st general meeting of the Rupandehi Chamber of Commerce and Industry today, Prime Minister Deuba said that the industrialists should present their genuine views for industrial development as well as for protection and promotion of their rights and welfare.
Inaugurating the 21st general meeting of Rupandehi Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, chief district officer Tana Gautam said that the cooperation of everyone is necessary for safeguarding and promoting industries in the country.
Member of the FNCCI central committee Gyanendra Kasaju expressed concern over the deteriorating conditions of the industries because of the lack of security.
Deputy Mayor of Butwal Municipality Bimal Bahadur Shakya said the cooperation of everyone is needed to resolve the problems of the industries.
President of the Rupandehi Trade Association Moti Raj Gyawali stressed the need to develop a new approach for promotion of industry and trade in the country.
At the function chaired by president of Rupandehi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahendra Narayan Shrestha, former president Pradhumnalal Shrestha, general secretary Ajaya Man Shrestha, vice-presidents Parmananda Kharel and Bupal Shrestha and treasurer Devendra Dwaju threw light on the activities of the chamber.
