LAHAN: An elderly woman was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at Kalyanpur Municipality-7 in Siraha on Saturday morning.

Area Police Office, Mirchaya informed 65-year-old Banarasidevi Sada was killed in the fire at her house, adding that Sada was sleeping when the incident occurred.

Property worth Rs 100,000 was gutted in the fire, police said.
