At least eight persons were killed and over a dozen others were injured when mini truck on its way to Pharping from Sisneri area of Makawanpur district met with an accident near Sisneri Sunday morning

The overcrowded mini truck overturned on the road at around 8:00 a.m., report said. The area is some 50km from Kathmandu.

Identity of the victims is yet to confirmed while the injured persons have been undergoing treatment at Manmohan Memorial Hospital in Pharphing and Patan Hospital, Lalitpur. Condition of some of the injured persons is said to be critical. Details are awaited.
