The Election Commission has submitted the draft of the Bill on Constituent Assembly Members Election 2007 to the government on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of EC Laxman Bhattarai, the draft was prepared after holding wide-ranging consultations with representatives of all parties currently represented at the legislative parliament along with other sectors of society and experts.

The Bill is one of the major electoral legislations that must be enacted soon to enable the EC to hold the CA polls on stipulated time.
