Earthquake jolts far-western Nepal

Kathmandu: An earthquake measuring 4.3 in the Richter scale shook far-western Nepal Friday, the Department of Mines and Geology said. The seismographic center at Surkhet recorded tremors at about 10:30 Friday morning.

According to Department of Mine and Geology, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Manipal area of Darchula district. So far, there are no reports of damage from the earthquake.
