Drinking water projects, underway in Sindhuli

Sindhuli, Mar 4 : A number of rural drinking water projects have been completed in different parts of Sindhuli district.

The Chisapani Drinking Water Project located at Ward No. 3 of Mahadevsthan village has been commissioned at the cost of Rs 450,000, it is learnt from the district water supply office.

Some 35 households of the locality will benefit from the project constructed with a financial assistance of Rs 350,000 from the community development programme, Sindhuli, a local non-governmental organisation and the rest met through local voluntary labour.

Similarly, the Khar Khola Drinking Water Project at Ward No. 5 of Dade Guranse Village has been constructed at the cost of Rs 75,000. Another drinking water project has been repaired at the same village at the cost of Rs 58,000.

Likewise, the Rs 283,000 Jhagare Garu Drinking Water Project has been also completed at  Ward No. 7, Netrakali VDC of the district.

The project, constructed with Rs 200,000 from the local VDC under the rural self-reliance programme and local voluntary labour, will benefit some 31 households in the area. The Bhot Thum Drinking Water Project at Ward No. 3 of Bhot Thum VDC has also been completed at the cost of Rs 35,000, it is learnt from the district water supply office.
