President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Wednesday said all caste, communities and linguistic groups should unite “to build a new Nepal”.
Speaking at a religious programme organised to commemorate the 99th birth anniversary of Kirat religion’s priest Guru Falgunanda at the holy site of Larumba of Ilam, Dr Yadav said that Nepal is “garden of various caste and communities” and that the dreams of new Nepal can not be realized by avoiding any particular group.
He made similar remarks at another religious function he attended in Jhorpokhari of Pacchthar district the same day.
Meanwhile, speaking at the same programme chairman of Constituent Assembly Subhash Nemwang stressed on need to maintain unity among all caste and communities to keep national integrity intact.
