Crown Prince conveys HM’s message to Saudi royal family, returning today

The Crown Prince conveyed His Majesty’s message of condolence on the demise of late King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, reports said Friday. Present on the occasion were Prince Abdul Rahman Bin Sultan, vice-minister for Defence and several other members of the royal family, it is stated.

As a special gesture, 38 members of the Saudi royal family, who traditionally chose the new monarch, were also presented to Crown Prince Paras. Foreign affairs minister Ramesh Nath Pandey was also present on the occasion, according to state owned Radio Nepal.

The Crown Prince had left for Riyadh Wednesday morning to express condolences on the demise of King Fahd representing His Majesty. He is returning home later Friday, a notice issued by the secretariat of His Majesty the King said. n
