The Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu has stopped issuing visas to Indians from July 12, a source at the Nepal Association for Travel Agents (NATA) said. Indians desiring to visit Tibet or other parts of China will have to get their visas from the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi.

The NATA board is discussing the new development Monday afternoon. Some Nepali travel agents were selling religious tours to Mansarobar in Tibet to Indian tourists. The reason for the Chinese move was not known. nepalnews.com br July 22
