Chand resigns from NC chief whip

Chief whip of Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Binayadhoj Chand resigned from the post of chief whip Monday. His resignation came following the election of Sher Bahadur Deuba as leader of Nepali Congress Parliamentary party.

He was appointed chief whip by former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
