Kathmandu, Jan. 27 : Thinley Lundup Lama, the actor of the famous international film “Caravan”, was today felicitated by the locals of Boudhha, Ward No. 6, Kathmandu Metropolitan City in honour of his recognition as the “Hero of the Himalayas” in the international arena.

On the occasion, Thinley was presented with a purse of Rs. 27,000 on behalf the local people.

The felicitation programme was jointly organised by the Shree Guru Lharbang Monastery Construction and Management Committee and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 6 committee.

At the programme, Dr. Ganesh Yonjan, Sarab Dorje, Yarchung Lama and others spoke on the hardships faced by the internationally famed actor, Thinley Lendup Lama of the “Caravan” fame.
