Former prime minister Kirtinidhi Bista left for Guilin, China, as head of a three member delegation that will participate in a three-day international conference on Asian tourism beginning November 17, sources close to Bista said.
The delegation includes Prof. Mohan Lohini and hotelier Mrs. Ambika Shrestha. Nearly 500 delegates are attending the conference sponsored by the Boao Forum for Asia.
The Forum was launched in February 2001 with a keynote address by late King Birendra. The Boao Forum for Asia promoted by China is the Asian equivalent of the World Economic Forum.
