Bank of Kathmandu offers 10 percent dividend, other details

At its 8th annual general meeting, Bank of Kathmandu Friday again announced an interim 10 percent dividend to its shareholders. announced at its previous meeting last year.

The Bank earned a Rs.157.3 million profit last year and Rs.85.6 million in the first five months of the current fiscal year. The Bank’s deposits reached Rs.5.97 billion and investments stood at Rs.4.52 billion in mid December.

Sagarmatha Insurance Company earned a net profit of Rs.15.66 million last fiscal year, shareholders were told at the Company’s 6th annual general meting Friday.

Premium mobilization soared 38 percent to Rs.90 million. The Company decided to distribute a Rs.1.425 million bonus to employees and eight percent dividend to shareholders.
