Bangladesh keen to enhance trade ties: Envoy

Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal, M. Humayun Kabir said Thursday there are ample prospects of trade promotion between Nepal and Bangladesh.

According to RSS, the envoy said this speaking at a reception hosted in his honour by the entrepreneurs of Morang district in Biratnagar Thursday.

“Bangladesh is ever willing to do business with a good neighbour such as Nepal,” he said, adding that there is a need to utilise the transit route facility to make trade better planned.

Stating that Bangladesh has been extending cooperation to Nepal for the proper development of human resources, he expressed his willingness for timely development of medical and engineering fields through joint venture, according to the agency.
