A-5-member team has left for India to take part in the prestigious Indian Satellite Badminton tournament to be held in New Delhi from 20-23 October 2005.

Bal Ram Thapa, Indra Mehta, Ram Singh Choudhary and Sumina Shrestha will compete in the men singles, doubles, ladies single and mixed doubles category. Bal Ram Thapa and Indra Mehta will tighten their bond in the men doubles while Sumina and Bal Ram will be paired in the in mixed doubles.

The team is led by member of Nepal Badminton Association (NBA) Biswesh Shrestha. Member secretary of National Sports Council (NSC) Kishor Bahadur Singh, Treasurer of NSC Gobardhan Nath Singh and president of NBA Prakash Bahadur Shahi bade the team farewell amid a function at the NSC sports complex.
