Kathmandu,Aug.27: A group of about 10 unknown assailants killed two persons,including a 79-year-old man, and injured three others and decamped with property worth about Rs.300,000 in Pokhara Friday night, reports said.

Karna Singh Gurung,79, died of wounds sustained while rushing to the nearby home of Durga Mana Gurung,40, murdered by the mauraders;Karna Singh woke up to noises in a scuffle between Durga Man and the attackers.

The mother and wife of Durga Man are among the injured, reports said.
