Country’s oldest economic newsmagazine being broadcast every Sunday in Nepal Television – Artha Ko Artha – marked 14th anniversary on April 25.
Produced by Independent Business News (IBN), the programme has been continuously raising eco-political issues through the national television for the past thirteen years.
The IBN has also been producing economic news capsules for Image Channel.
According to Hridaya Raj Gautam, managing director of IBN, the IBN will further focus the concept of ‘journalism for development’ in the coming days and strive to expand the reach and service to cover even people of rural region.
The IBN currently is equipped with skilled manpower and equipment to produce quality programmes.
In a press statement, the IBN has vowed to improve the standard of its programmes in the coming days in order to raise economic issues to strengthen the democratic regime.
