Chief of the Army Staff, General Pyara Jung Thapa is leaving for a weeklong goodwill visit to China on Sunday afternoon. He is going there at the invitation of People’s Liberation Army.

According to the Defence Ministry, General Thapa will meet vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, the State Councilor, the Defence Minister of China and other senior authorities.

General Thapa’s wife Kamala Thapa and Lieutenant General Chitra Bahadur Thapa are also going with the General.
