Chief of army staff (COAS), General Pyar Jung Thapa, left for Thailand Sunday to take part in the Pacific Army Chief’s Conference (PACC-IV), the Directorate of Public Relations (DPR) at the army headquarters said.

PACC-IV will be held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, for four days beginning from Monday.

Army chiefs from 23 countries including Nepal, India, Japan and the USA are taking part in the conference organized by the Royal Thai Army. General Thapa will discuss security-related matters with his counterparts, the DPR stated.
