Army chief briefs PM on security situation

Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Rukmangad Katawal briefed the Prime Minister on the current security situation of the country on Sunday.

Katawal gave half-hour briefing to PM Koirala, who also holds the defence portfolio, at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar.

Army spokesperson Ramindra Chhetri told Nepalnews that this was a regular briefing on current security scenario and the activities of the army.
