ANNFSU, others submit memorandum

Kathmandu, Aug. 23 (RSS):   Six different organisations including All Nepal National Free Students Union, the sister organisation of CPN-ML presented a memorandum along with a 2,400 meters long cloth bearing the signatures of 523,000 people to the Royal Palace today demanding action against the person involved in the car accident that killed musician Praveen Gurung.

A procession that originated from Ratna Park went round the town before reaching the west gate of the Royal Palace to present the memorandum.

The procession returned to Ratna Park and converged for a public rally, according to a press release issued by ANNFSU.

ANNFSU president Rabindra Adhikari, Democratic National Youth Association vice president Jivanram Shrestha, President of All Nepal Women’s Organisation Radha Gyawali, and various other speakers addressed the public rally.
