At least nine people were killed and over two dozen others injured inseparate road accidents on Monday.

Seven passengers were killed and at least 25 others injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Mastamandu in the far-western district of Dadeldhura, reports said. The bus was heading for Dipayal from Doti.

The injured passengers have been undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Dadeldhura. Those killed in the accident are yet to be identified.

Likewise, two persons died in a similar bus accident on Mirchaiya-Katari road in Udayur district today. The injured passengers have been admitted at the Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for treatment.
