UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Louise Arbour is arriving in the capital today on a six-day visit to assess the human rights situation of the country.

Arbour is scheduled to hold talks with the Prime Minister, leaders of the major political parties, human rights activists and media persons, during her visit.

The High Commissioner who is visiting Nepal to assess the recent human rights situation in changed political situation is also scheduled to visit other parts of the country.

Arbour is scheduled to address the press at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon her arrival.
