People of Tamghas of Gulmi district were overjoyed by the performance of Nepathya, the premier rock-folk band of the country.

People of the district were able to taste for themselves the performance by the premier rock, folk band of the country for the first time in their locality as Nepathya performed at Shivashakti Cinema Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday as part of its nationwide tour with a banner “Shantiko Lagi Sikchya” (Education for Peace).

People from all walks of life gathered to see the performance of Nepathya and danced with the tune of Nepathya.

People of the district, who were familiar with the songs of Nepathya were overwhelmed with joy to find their favourite artistes performing in front of them.

Nepathya performed two shows in Tamghas. The first show on Tuesday was for the selected invitees, including people who could not attend normal show due to disabilities. The second show was for general people.

Nepathya contributed the amount collected from ticket sales to the Reshunga Multiple college.

This is the first show of Nepathya in Tamghas.

The Nepathya team consisting 45 members, which is on a 40-day long nationwide musical tour since December 21, will tour to Pokhara and Besisahar in the west. It is scheduled to further travel to Trisuli Bazaar and Jiri before concluding their tour in Kathmandu on the 31st of January.
